Abstract
Tema ovog završnog rada su optičke mreţe. U radu će se opisivati elementi svjetlovodne mreţe te će se objasniti i mreţe u FTTX arhitekturama. Zatim će se obraditi aktivne i pasivne optičke mreţe. Pasivne optičke mreţe smatraju se jednim od najpogodnijih rješenja za realizaciju različitih optičkih mreţa za pristup. Sadrţe ključnu prednost nad ostalim mreţama zbog toga što su zasnovane na potpuno pasivnim komponentama. Opisane su i primjene svjetlovodnih prijenosnih sustava.
Abstract (english)
The theme of this final work is optical network. This paper will evaluate elements of optical network and the same network will be explained through FTTX architecture. Further, active and passive optical networks will be processed. Passive optical networks are considered as one of the most suitable solutions for realisation of different optical networks in the case of their access. They have a key advantage over other networks because they are designed exclusively on passive components. Optical portable system is also described in this paper.
