The influence of digital technology of the Internet to the society and individuals has been researched in various ways, and the influence on the individual mind and brain is becoming a more popular subject of many newer pieces of research day by day. The Internet has become the omnipresent technology of today's society on which most people rely on while doing their daily activities and the theory that the brain changes throughout life has become a commonly accepted theory of the scientific community. This paper explains the changes that have been caused by the digital technology in every aspect of an individual's life, as well as the ways of functioning neuroplasticity and the changes that process can include and at the very end what effects it can have on an individual mind and brain in the context of digital technology. Several scientific methods have been used during the course of this thesis work. Basic scientific methods during the treatment of the subject were the descriptive method and synthesis method, and as the auxiliary: inductive and deductive methods of conclusion. The hypothesis of this paper that under the influence of digital technology of the Internet, a society has been created with a new brain structure, has not completely been confirmed because there is an insufficient number of convincing researches which confirm that very statement. However, very many convincing facts were introduced, which if linked can lead to a conclusion that this is very probably true.
