Abstract
U ovom radu napisana je kratka povijest intarzije koja objašnjava razvitak intarzije kao umjetničke tehnike, te spominje materijale, alate i nekoliko vrsta same izrade i objašnjava njihov postupak. Također, opisan je proces izrade furnira drva kao važnog elementa za izradu spomenute umjetničke tehnike, kao i osnovne karakteristike vrsta drva koje su najčešće korištene. Na samom kraju rad sadrži i primjer izrade marketerije, odnosno objašnjen je postupak rada s ciljem da se studentima približi i olakša praktični dio.
Abstract (english)
In this work, the short history of the intarsia is written explaining the evolution of the intarsia as a technique and some of the materials, tools, and procedures of making are mentioned and explained as well. Also, the process of making veneers is explained as an important element for making the mentioned technique, as well as the main characteristics of the wood species that are mostly used. In the end, this work contains the example of making intarsia, apropos explained steps of making with a purpose to make the practical part more easy and approachable to students.
