Entrepreneurship can be defined from an economic point of view as the totality of organizational, innovative and managerial skills, which means the creation of new values using opportunities and certain resources. Entrepreneurs are constantly looking for new opportunities and new markets developing existing or new products at the same time. This is extremely important in creative industries, ie activities that arise from the creativity, skills and talents of individuals, and which have the potential to create wealth and jobs through the production and exploitation of intellectual property. The analysis of available studies showed that in Croatia the gross value added of these industries amounted to 2.3% of GDP. The share of employees in the total number of employees in industries was 8.9%. Business entities in the creative and cultural industries accounted for as much as 5.7% of the total number of business entities in the Croatian economy. The results of the study suggest that the creative industry could be the factor that will change the world for the better.
