This graduate thesis deals with the topic of the impact of public relations in the activities of non-profit organizations, on the example of the Finnish association Women's Bank (Naisten Pankki). The organization’s aim is supporting the existence of women in Africa, Asia and the Middle East according to the principles of sustainable development. The theoretical part on non-profit organizations, public relations and media relations in non-profit organizations, as well as the entire activities of the Women's Bank were discussed. The aim is to point out the importance of public relations in the work of non-profit organizations on the example of the Women's Bank Walk in Dubrovnik. The activities and media performance for the three years of the event were analyzed, and the result of the previous three years in Dubrovnik and other places in Finland and outside Finland where the event took place every year was compared. Public relations are an indispensable part of the activities of non-profit organizations, which achieves better results in the form of collected donations. Women's Bank Walk, as the most important event of the association, has achieved great success in Dubrovnik in the last three years, when it was organized by a public relations practitioner, which proved that Women's Bank recognized the importance of public relations and that PR tools contribute to Women's Bank's goal. Shortcomings were also noted in order to improve communication with the target public and increase the visibility of the organization in the media throughout the year. This is included in the communication plan so the second auxiliary hypotesis that public relations during the organization of one event per year is sufficient in the entire activity of Women's Bank Dubrovnik throughout the year has been partially rejected.
