February of 2022 will go down in the history books as the month and year when the war in Ukraine began - characterized as the largest attack on European soil since World War II. Shortly after the start of the war, the first viral (popular) videos from the Ukrainian battlefield began to appear on the Internet. Social networks were remade with videos from the battlefield that were released to the public by Ukrainian soldiers and citizens, of shocking videos and civilian suffering, bombings and the everyday life in war. Such recordings began to gain popularity at a high speed and thus caused a completely new phenomenon; the Russian invasion of Ukraine soon got the title - the first TikTok war. The primary goal of this paper is to compare propaganda related to the war conflict in Ukraine on the social network TikTok. The quantitative analysis method of the 300 most popular TikTok videos divided into three categories was used to compare TikTok content. A cross-comparison of the research results provides a broader and more detailed view of the relationship between the protagonist of the video and the mood and theme of the video content, while the analysis of the propaganda content based on the obtained data provides an overview of the techniques and forms of used propaganda.
