Abstract Psihički ili fizički podražaj koji remeti homeostazu rezultira odgovorom na stres. Utjecaj stresa na medicinske sestre/tehničare koji rade u izvanbolničkoj medicinskoj službi predstavlja aspekt istraživanja u kontekstu njihove profesionalne dobrobiti i kvalitete zdravstvene skrbi koju pružaju. Ovi predani zdravstveni profesionalci suočavaju se s izazovima koji uključuju kompleksne hitne situacije, traume i emocionalnu napetost na svakodnevnoj razini što ozbiljno dovodi do emocionalnog i fizičkog stresa. svakodnevnoj razini što ozbiljno dovodi do emocionalnog i fizičkog stresa. Mentalni utjecaj stresa na medicinske djelatnike obuhvaća širok raspon problema, uključujući anksioznost, depresiju i posttraumatski stresni poremećaj (PTSP). Rad u izvanbolničkoj hitnoj medicini zahtijeva brze i često teške odluke pod pritiskom, što često rezultira ozbiljnim izazovima u psihološkom smislu. Stres osim što djeluje u psihičkom smislu postoje i mogućnosti drugihzdravstvenih tegoba. Fizički utjecaj stresa nije zanemariv. Stalni stres može izazvati fizičke simptome kao što su: kronični umor, nesanica, povišeni krvni tlak i povećani rizik od kardiovaskularnih bolesti. Medicinski djelatnici u hitnoj medicinimoraju održavati visoku razinu fizičke izdržljivosti kako bi adekvatno odgovorili na izazovne situacije, a stres može ozbiljno narušiti njihovu sposobnost za obavljanje tih zahtjevnih zadataka. Osim toga, stres može dovesti i do pojave profesionalnog sagorijevanja (eng, burnout) među medicinskim djelatnicima, što se očituje kroz osjećaj iscrpljenosti, smanjenu motivaciju i općenito smanjenozadovoljstvoposlom. Ovo stanje može imati negativan utjecaj na kvalitetu skrbi koju pružaju pacijentima. Kako bi smanjili štetne učinke stresa na medicinske djelatnike, ključno je implementirati programe preventive, podrške, edukacije, prevencije. Pružiti obuku za učinkovito upravljanje stresom i razviti strategiju samopomoći. Također,bitno je prepoznati rane znakove stresa, fizičke/psihičke iscrpljenosti te osigurati pristuppsihološkim uslugama kako bi se osiguralo da medicinski djelatnici ostanu fizički i emocionalno zdravi u zahtjevnom okruženju izvanbolničkehitne medicinske službe. Kroz rad ću prikazati utjecaj stresa na djelatnike izvanbolničke hitne medicinske skrbi kroz anketni upitnik na području Zavoda za hitnu medicinu Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije.
Abstract (english) A mental or physical stimulus that disrupts homeostasis resultsin a stress response.The influence of a stress on nurses and tehnicians working in the outpatient medical service represents an aspect of a research in the context of their well-being and the quality health care provide. These dedicated health professionals face challenges that include complex emergancy situations, trauma and emotional tension on a daily basis, which seriously leads to emotion and physical stress. Mental stress among medical professionals covers a wide rang of problems, including anxity, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Work in outpatient emergancy medicine requires quick and often difficult decisions under pressure, which often results in serious psychological challengies. In addtion to stress acting in a psychohlogical sense, there are other possibilities for health problems. The psysical impact of a stress is not negligible. Constant stress can cause physical symptoms such as chronic fatigue, insomnia, elevated bloodpressure, and an increased risk of cardiovasculalr diseas. Medical professionals in emergancy medicine must maintain a high level of physical edurance in order to adequately respod to a challenging tasks. In addition, stress can also lead to the occurenceof professional burnout among medical professionals employees, which manifests itself through a feeling of a exhaustion, reducet motivation, and a greneral decrease in a job satisfaction.This condition can have a negativ impact on the quality of a care provide to patients. In order to reducethe harmfuleffects of a stress on medical workers, it is crucial to implement programs of prevention, support, education and prevention. Provide training for effective stress managment and develop self-help strategy.Also, it is imprortant to recognize early signs of stress and physical or mental exhaustion and provide access to psychological services to ensure that medical professsionals remain physicall and emotionally healhty in the demending enviroment of the outpatient emergancy medical service. I will show the impact of stress on outpatient emergnacy medical care workers through a survey questionnaire in the area of the Institute for Emergancy Medicine of Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
