Abstract
Kategorija poduzetništva koja bilježi najbrži rast u svijetu su žene poduzetnice. Žene imaju mogućnost značajno doprinijeti poduzetničkim pothvatima i poticati gospodarski napredak stvaranjem prilika za zapošljavanje i povećanjem bruto domaćeg proizvoda, čime igraju ključnu ulogu u ublažavanju siromaštva i rješavanju socijalne isključenosti. Međutim, udio žena koje se odluče za poduzetničku karijeru manji je od udjela muškaraca, a ta razlika postaje sve izraženija kako zemlja napreduje u razvoju. Objašnjenje ove razlike može se naći u ekonomskim i regulatornim uvjetima kao i brojnim poteškoćama s kojima se žene, iako u puno manjoj mjeri nego nekada, susreću. Međutim, bez obzira na sve, žene poduzetnice, kao što je već predstavljeno, su najbrže rastuća kategorija poduzetništva u svijetu, one su fenomen današnjeg doba, i tema ovog diplomskog rada.
Abstract (english)
The fastest growing category of entrepreneurship in the world is women entrepreneurs. Women have the opportunity to significantly contribute to entrepreneurial ventures and stimulate economic progress by creating employment opportunities and increasing the gross domestic product, thereby playing a key role in alleviating poverty and addressing social exclusion. However, the share of women who choose an entrepreneurial career is lower than the share of men, and this difference becomes more pronounced as the country progresses in development. The explanation for this difference can be found in the economic and regulatory conditions as well as the many difficulties that women face, although to a much lesser extent than in the past. However, regardless of everything, women entrepreneurs, as already presented, are the fastest growing category of entrepreneurship in the world, they are a phenomenon of today's age, and the subject of this thesis.
