Abstract
Proračun je najvažniji strateški dokument Europske unije (EU) koji odražava njen program i ciljeve. Različit je od proračuna zemalja članica, ali ipak dovoljno snažan da bude pokretač EU. Njegova je specifičnost to što ne postoji mogućnost zaduživanja, te da se troši točno onoliko koliko se i prikupi sredstava. Zajednički interesi EU se integriraju u proračunu i svaka članica ravnopravno sudjeluje u njegovom kreiranju i korištenju. Ima važan i kulturni aspekt koji ujedinjuje Europu i prodire do mjesta gdje je najpotrebnija pomoć i ispravljanje nejednakosti. Ulaskom Hrvatske u EU i ona je postala njegov korisnik. Pridonosi mu sukladno ekonomskoj snazi, a od njega pribavlja sredstva koja pomažu ujednačavanju s ostalim zemljama članicama, te težnji cilja EU da sve članice bude koherentne. EU najviše ulaže u kohezijsku politiku kako bi se otklonile gospodarske nejednakosti među državama članicama EU.
Abstract (english)
Budget is the most important strategic document of the European union (EU) which reflects it˙s programs and goals. It is different than EU members budget, but it is strong enough to be development of the EU. Budget is specific because there is no possibility of borrowing, it spents as much as it earns. Mutual interests of EU are integrated in budget and every member can participate equally in its use and creation. It has important cultural aspect, uniting Europe and getting to the places where most is needed. By entering Croatia in EU, it becomes budget user. Croatia contributes to EU budget according to it˙s economic power and it is getting from the budget finance funds which helps us to unite with other members of EU and to strive to the goal of the EU to be coherent. The EU mostly invest in cohesion politics to eliminate economic inequalities between members of the EU.
