Abstract
Ovaj rad bavi se pojmom tokova podataka s posebnim osvrtom na velike podatke. Veliki podaci su relativno nov pojam u svijetu tehnologije i odlikuju se glavnim karakteristikama poput volumena, raznolikosti i brzine te još nekim sporednim koje su utjecale na razvoj tehnologija i alata koje se bave upravljanjem velikim podacima: prikupljanjem, analizom, pohranjivanjem, dijeljenjem, ponovnom upotrebom i drugo. Razlozi nastanka velikih podataka su mnogi, a opisani su kao pokretači nastanka: Internet stvari, Računarstvo u oblaku, Mobilne tehnologije. Tehnologije obrade velikih podataka: raspodijeljena, obrada u stvarnom vremenu te virtualizacija su i nastali kao posljedica zahtjeva za rastom i razvojem velikih podataka. Na kraju rada nabrojani su i ukratko opisani izazovi tehnologija za velike podatke.
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with the concept of data flows with emphasis on their use in big data. Big data is a relatively new concept in the world of technology and is distinguished by the main characteristics such as volume, variety and velocity, and some other less known characteristics that have influenced the development of technologies and tools that deal with big data management: gathering, analysing, storing, sharing, reusing and more. There are many reasons for the development of big data and they are described as the initiators of big data: Internet of Things, Cloud computing and mobile technologies. Big data technologies: distributed processing, real-time processing and virtualization have been created as a result of demand for growth and development of big data. At the very end there is a short description of challenges of the big data technologies.
