Abstract
Za financiranje svojih poslovnih aktivnosti poslovni subjekti biraju različite izvore financiranja što se posebice ističe u posljednje vrijeme koje je okarakterizirano suvremenim poslovanjem i neizvjesnim promjenama. Kao jedan od načina financiranja javlja se leasing, a upravo ovaj rad bavi se tematikom leasinga. Kroz prvi dio rada nastoji se pružiti teorijska podloga za daljnji tijek istraživanja. Pritom se iznose najvažnije odrednice leasinga, govoreći o pojmu, značajkama, vrstama, leasing društvima te računovodstvenom i poreznom tretmanu. U empirijskom dijelu rada nastoji se kroz detaljnu analizu leasing društava u Republici Hrvatskoj donijeti zaključak o karakteristikama i uspješnosti njihova poslovanja.
Abstract (english)
To finance their business activities, business entities choose various sources of finance, which are particularly emphasized lately, characterized by modern business and uncertain changes. One of the ways of financing is leasing, and this paper deals with the subject of leasing. First part of the paper tries to provide a theoretical background for further research. The most important definitions of leasing are presented, describing the concept, characteristics, types, leasing companies and accounting and tax treatment. In the empirical part of the paper, a detailed analysis of the leasing companies in the Republic of Croatia is attempted to make a conclusion on the characteristics and performance of their business.
