Abstract
U ovom radu bavimo se postrojenjima za proizvodnju vode u sustavima obrnute osmoze, problemima utroška energije tijekom procesa rada kao i rješenjima za snižavanje utroška energije samog procesa obrnute osmoze. U radu su prikazani neki od uređaja za uštedu energije kao što su Peltonov turbinski kotač, hidraulični turbopunjač te izmjenjivač tlaka. Membrane u RO postupku služe za dobivanje pročišćene vode visoke kvalitete. Sustav obrnute osmoze (RO) je jedna od najboljih dostupnih sustava koji se koriste za pročiščavanje vode i često se koriste u proizvodnji vrlo čiste vode za uporabu u poluvodičkoj industriji, industriji proizvodnje energije (voda za napajanje kotlova) i medicinskim / laboratorijskim aplikacijama. Veličina membranskih pora je 0,0005 mikrona, što osigurava visoku kvalitetu pročišćene vode. Pelton turbinsko kolo uspješno se koristi za uštedu energije u sustavima obrnute osmoze. Pelton kotač koristi energiju visokog tlaka, koju preuzima od rasoli, u procesa obrnute osmoze. Koncentrat rasoli visokog tlaka se dovodi u Peltonovu hidrauličnu impulsnu turbinu, te stvara izlaznu rotirajuću snagu, koja pomože glavnom električnom motoru u pokretanju pumpe visokog tlaka. Ovaj proces omogućuje korištenje manjeg, pa time i jeftinijeg električnog motora i štedi vrlo značajan dio snage i, prema tome, troškove potrebne za pogon pumpe. Sustav je vrlo jednostavan za upravljanje sa samo jednom kontrolom i sastoji se od podesive ulazne mlaznice za pretvaranje tlaka u kinetičku energiju sadržane u izlaznom mlazu.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, we are dealing with Reverse Osmosis water desalinization plants, problems of energy consumption during operation process as well as solutions for excessive power consumption in the RO process. In the paper we are presenting some of energy recovery devices such as Pelton turbine wheel, hydraulic turbocharger and pressure exchanger. The membranes in RO process serves to achieve high quality of purified water. Reverse Osmosis (RO) is among the finest levels of filtration available and is often used in the production of ultrapure water for use in semiconductor industry, power generation industry (boiler feed water) and medical / laboratory applications. Size of membrane pores are 0,0005 microns, ensuring high quality of purified water. The Pelton Turbine wheel has been successfully used to save energy in reverse osmosis systems. The Pelton Wheel takes advantage of the high-pressure energy, which remains in the reject (brine), from the reverse osmosis process. The high-pressure concentrate is fed into the Pelton wheel hydraulic impulse turbine, which then produces rotating power output, which is used to assist the main electric motor in driving the high pressure pump. This process allows a smaller, less costly motor to be utilized and saves a very considerable proportion of the power and, therefore, cost necessary to drive pump. The system is very easy to operate with only one control and consist of an adjustable input nozzle to convert pressure into kinetic energy contained in high velocity jet.
