Abstract
Upravljanje kvalitetom je postao jedan od glavnih zadataka menadžera zbog sve veće potrebe za isticanjem od konkurencije. To obuhvaća niz procesa koji određuju politiku kvalitete, ciljeve i odgovornosti. Svaki menadžer može izabrati jedan od načina upravljanja kvaliteteom: Total Quality Management, ISO sustave, Lean Management ili Six Sigma proces. Upravo je svrha ovog rada bila utvrditi koje su prednosti implementacije Six Sigma procesa, te kako se ona provodi. Provedba je ključna i zahtjeva mnogo odricanja kroz duže vremenske periode kako bi se uspješno izvršio cilj. Svoj doprinos moraju dati svi uključeni u proces implementacije, od zaposlenika do vrhovnog menadžmenta. Mnoge tvrtke diljem svijeta primjenjuju Six Sigma metodologiju te tako ostvaruju znatne uštede i povećavaju prihode. Najpoznatiji primjer takve tvrtke u Hrvatskoj je farmaceutska tvrtka Pliva.
Abstract (english)
Quality Management has become one of the main manager's assignments due to higher needs of standing out from the competition. It includes a series of processes which define quality, aims and responsability. Each manager can choose a way to manage quality: Total Quality Management, ISO standard, Lean Management or Six Sigma process. The purpose of this paper was to determine advantages of implementation Six Sigma process and to show how implementation is done. Implementation is crucial and requires much renunciation over longer periods of time in order to successfully accomplish the goal. Everyone who is included in the implementation process has to give their contribution, from employee to top management. Many companies all around the world apply Six Sigma methodologies and in that way accomplish significant savings and increase the income. The most famous example of the implementation in Croatia is the pharmaceutical company Pliva. KEY
