Abstract
Nekada su se rezervacije vršile tako što je bilo potrebno kontaktirati turističku agenciju te joj dati sve potrebne podatke za rezervaciju, a taj proces rezerviranja je znao potrajati danima. Razvojem tehnologije došlo je i do unapređenja rezervacijskih sustava. Sustav informacijskih tehnologija je relativno brzo proširen kroz hotelsku industriju, te tako omogućuje pristup pouzdanim i detaljnim informacijama, mogućnost rezerviranja, poboljšava kvalitetu usluga i doprinosi većem zadovoljstvu potrošača. Poseban naglasak dan je trendovima online rezervacija u turističkoj industriji, te općenito rezervacijama i samom rezervacijskom sustavu. U radu su objašnjeni trendovi u rezerviranju hotelskog smještaja s naglaskom na moderne aplikacije, brze rezervacije te rezerviranje smještaja putem društvenih mreža.
Abstract (english)
Reservations used to be made by contacting a travel agency, providing them with all the necessary information for making the booking and this process took days. With the development of technology, reservation systems were also improved. The information technology system has expanded relatively quickly through the hotel industry, thus providing access to reliable and detailed information, the possibility of booking, while at the same time improving the quality of services and contributing to greater customer satisfaction. Besides the reservations in general and reservation systems, special emphasis is given to the trends of online reservations in the tourism industry. The paper explains the trends in booking hotel accommodation with an emphasis on modern applications, quick reservations and booking accommodation through social networks.
