Abstract
Glavna vrsta motora koja se koristi na brodovima su asinkroni motori, sa svojom niskom cijenom i velikom pouzdanošću prevladali su tržištem. Oni su najveća trošila električne energije na brodu, a koriste se za sve od propulzije broda do pomoćnih vitla i pumpi. U prvom dijelu rada opisano je osnovno načelo rada asinkronih motora, momentna karakteristika te problematika koja nastaje pri njihovom pokretanju i regulaciji brzine vrtnje. Drugi dio rada opisuje neke primjere trofaznih asinkronih motora na brodu, odnosno na električnu propulziju tj. samo upravljanje broda korištenjem asinkronih motora, također ćemo proći i kroz sve druge upotrebe motora na brodu koje rade i u trajnom i u isprekidanom režimu rada.
Abstract (english)
The main type of engines used on ships are asynchronous engines, with their low cost and high reliability they have dominated the market. They are the largest consumer of electricity on board and are used for everything from ships propulsion to auxiliary winches and pumps. In the first part of the paper, we will go through the basic working principles of asynchronous motors, touch on the torque characteristics of the same and get into the problems that arise when they start and with the regulation speed. The second part of the paper will focus on their use on board, that is on electrical propulsion, we will also go through all other uses of motors on board operating in both continuous and intermittent mode.
