Abstract
Cilj je ovog rada povijesno-umjetnička i kulturološka analiza istočno azijske keramike te skretanje pozornosti na pristupe restauraciji istih. U radu je prikazana evolucija keramike i porculana Dalekog istoka s pregledom specifičnih formi, materijala i tehnika te dekorativnih motiva. Napravljen je osvrt na povijesni razvoj kineske, korejske i japanske keramike i porculana. Budući da Koreja leži sjeverno od Kine i u blizini japanskih otoka, uspostavila je kulturnu vezu između dviju zemalja. Njihov utjecaj nezaobilazan je za daljnje formiranje japanskog keramičkog stila koji je nastao kao posljedica susreta i prožimanja dviju kultura. Inspiriran umjetnošću svojih susjeda, Japan je transformirao i preveo kineske i korejske prototipove u jedinstvenu japansku kreaciju, koja će u stoljećima koja slijede imati veliki utjecaj na lokalnu produkciju u zapadnoj Europi. U dijelu rada koji se odnosi na specifičnosti konzervatorsko-restauratorskih pristupa porculanu, opisat će se drevna japanska tehnika Kintsugi.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this work is the historical-artistic and cultural analysis of East Asian ceramics with drawing attention to approaches of their restoration. In this Master thesis evolution of ceramics and porcelain of the Far East is presented with an overview of specific forms, materials and techniques and decorative motifs. A review of historical development of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese ceramics and porcelain was made in this thesis. Since Korea lies north of China and near the Japanese islands, a cultural connection between these two countries has been established. Iinfluence on each other is inevitable for the further formation of Japanese ceramic style that arose because of the encounter and permeation of two cultures. Inspired by the art of its neighbors, Japan transformed and translated Chinese and Korean prototypes into a uniquely Japanese creation, which in the following centuries will have a great influence on the local production in Western Europe. In the part of this thesis that refers to the specifics of conservation-restoration approaches to porcelain, the ancient Japanese Kintsugi technique will be described.
