Abstract
Bluetooth 5.0 je novija verzija standarda Bluetootha te je jedna od značajnih tehnologija koja se odnosi na komunikacijske tehnologije kratkog dometa povezanih s internetom stvari (eng. Internet of Things, IoT) okruženjem. IoT spada u novu vrstu umrežavanja kojoj je glavni cilj povezivanje mnoštva različitih uređaja korištenjem različitih komunikacijskih tehnologija. Glavni oblik bežične tehnologije koja se koristi u IoT okruženju je Bluetooth. Primjena Bluetootha odnosi se na razmjenu podataka između fiksnih i mobilnih bežičnih uređaja kratkog dometa. Bluetooth 5.0 koristi se niskoenergetskim Bluetooth protokolom (eng. Bluetooth Low Energy, BLE) koji je postao vodeći protokol u današnjoj primjeni te je dizajniran za jednostavnije uparivanje uređaja. U ovom radu opisan je Bluetooth 5.0 i njegova uloga, primjena i značajke u današnjoj svakodnevici kao i arhitektura BLE protokola kojom se koristi.
Abstract (english)
Bluetooth 5.0 is the latest version of the Bluetooth standard and is one of the significant technologies related to short-range communication technologies associated with the Internet of Things (IoT) environment. IoT belongs to a new type of networking which main goal is to connect many different devices using different communication technologies. The main form of wireless technology used in the IoT environment is Bluetooth. The application of Bluetooth refers to the exchange of data between fixed and mobile short-range wireless devices. Bluetooth 5.0 uses the Bluetooth Low Energy protocol (BLE), which has become the leading protocol in today's applications, and is designed for easier pairing of devices. This paper describes Bluetooth 5.0 and its role, application and features in today's everyday life, as well as the architecture of the Bluetooth Low Energy protocol that is used.
