Abstract
Pomorski robni tokovi glavni su nositelji trgovinske razmjene u svijetu, najveći pokretači međunarodne razmjene dobara te predstavljaju veze koje spajaju najveća industrijska, prometna i trgovačka čvorišta – luke. S obzirom na sve veće količine kontejnerizirane robe, kontejnerski promet unutar svjetskih robnih tokova poprima izuzetno bitnu ulogu. Razvojem kontejnerizacije i robnih tokova, a ponajviše povećanjem dimenzija brodova, javila se potreba za izgradnjom većih, opremljenijih i automatiziranih kontejnerskih terminala. Kontejnerski terminali kontinuirano se prilagođavaju promjenama u pomorskom prometu i zahtjevima tržišta. Prekrcajne mogućnosti kontejnerskog terminala utječu na produktivnost i propusnu moć terminala.
Abstract (english)
Maritime commodity flows are the main carriers of trade in the world, the biggest driving force in international trade and they represent links, linking the largest industrial, traffic and trade hubs. Given the increasing volumes of containerized goods, container traffic within the world's commodity flows plays an extremely important role. With the development of containerization and commodity flows, most notably by increasing the dimensions of ships, there is a need for construction of larger, more equipped and automated container terminals. Container terminals are continually adapting to changes in maritime traffic and market demands. Transhipment capabilities of the container terminal affect the productivity and the peripheral power of the terminal.
