Abstract
Dijabetes danas nije samo zdravstveni problem pojedinca, već je riječ o javnozdravstvenom problemu. Danas sve više ljudi, različite životne dobi, obolijeva od dijabetesa, a razlog tome uvelike se može identificirati u stilu života, prehrambenim navikama, nedovoljnoj fizičkoj aktivnosti, stresu i dr. Život s dijabetesom može biti otežan ako bolesnici nemaju dostupnu adekvatnu medicinsku skrb, a što posebno dolazi do izražaja u ruralnim sredinama. Cilj rada: Istražiti kod oboljelih od dijabetesa u ruralnom području Dubrovačkog primorja i Konavala, je li se pridržavaju pravilnog načina prehrane , koliko se često kontroliraju, jesu li zadovoljni količinom dostupnih pomagala za kontrolu dijabetesa. Istražiti učestalost kontrola kod obiteljskog liječnika i dijabetologa, te zadovoljstvo suradnje s patronažnom sestrom. Metode i ispitanici:Za svrhu istraživanja konstruiran je anketni upitnik po uzoru na instrumente koji su se dosad koristili u sličnim istraživanjima kod oboljelih od dijabetesa.Anketni upitnik je sadržavao 10 pitanja koja su bila prilagođena ovom istraživanju. U istraživanje je uključeno 100 osoba oboljelih od dijabetesa sa područja Dubrovačkog primorja i Konavala. Istraživanje je provedeno u tromjesečnom razdoblju od 1.kolovoza do 31. listopada, 2017.godine. Zaključak:Istraživanje je pokazalo da se oboljeli najviše oslanjaju na posjet patronažne sestre, te da je potrebno još više uložiti truda u edukaciju o važnosti kontrole guka kao i pravilne prehrane.
Abstract (english)
Today, diabetes is not just a health problem for an individual, but it is a public health problem. Today, more and more people with different ages suffer from diabetes, and this can be largely identified in their lifestyle, eating habits, inadequate physical activity, stress, etc. Life with diabetes may be difficult if patients do not have adequate medical care available which is particularly pronounced in rural environments. Objective: To study in diabetic patients in the rural area of Dubrovnik and Konavle, whether they are adhering to the proper diet, how often they are controlled, whether they are satisfied with the amount of available diabetes control aids. Investigate the frequency of controls at family physicians and diabetologists, and the pleasure of co-operation with the patron sister. Methods and respondents: For the purpose of the research, a survey questionnaire was constructed on the basis of instruments used so far in similar studies in diabetic patients. The questionnaire contained 10 questions that were tailored to this research. The study included 100 people suffering from diabetes from the area of Dubrovnik and Konavle. The study was conducted in the quarterly period from August 1 to October 31, 2017. Conclusion: Research has shown that sufferers rely most on visiting patrons' nurses, and that even more effort is needed to educate on the importance of guk control as well as proper nutrition.
