Abstract
U radu se raspravlja o važnosti tehnologije u hotelskim poduzećima, odnosno njezinoj primjeni. Da bi se navedena tema što detaljnije analizirala, u prvom dijelu rada stavlja se naglasak na povijest razvoja tehnologije. Istaknute su najznačanije tehnološke inovacije koje su ostavile trag na turizam, a samim time i na poslovanje hotelskih poduzeća. Slijedom toga, obrađuje se pojam turizma te počeci hotelijerstva. Također se govori o hotelu i njegovim uslugama, a srž navedene teme rada odnosi se obradu implementacije informacijskih tehnologija na svim razinama hotelskog poslovanja. Posljednje poglavlje rada nastoji prikazati tehnološki utjecaj na hotelsko poslovanja kroz konkretan primjer.
Abstract (english)
This paper discusses the importance of technology in the hotels, and its application. As to further explain the topic the first part of the paper puts the emphasis on the history of technology development. Highlights are the most significant technological innovations that have left their mark on tourism, and therefore the business hotel companies. Consequently, the process is the concept of tourism and hospitality beginnings. You are talking about the hotel and its services, and the core of the themes in the work refers to the processing of implementation of information technology at all levels of the hotel business. The last section of the paper seeks to show the technological impact on the hotel business through a real example.
