Abstract
Primarna tema ovog rada su konzervatorsko-restauratorski radovi koji su se izvodili na skulpturi Krista. Skulptura pripada crkvi Sv. Petra u Vagli (Italija) te je izvedena u keramici kao primarnom materijalu. Unutar rada, uz konzervatorsko-restauratorske zahvate, obrazložiti će se postupak tehnologije izrade keramike, kao i povijest keramike kako bi se bolje obradila problematika same skulpture. S obzirom da skulptura pripada sakralnoj umjetnosti, obrazložiti će se i ikonološko-ikonografski aspekti vezani za religijsku scenu koju skulptura prikazuje, a posvećen joj je ovaj rad. Konzervatorsko restauratorski postupak sačinjava najveći dio rada, a sva istraživanja kojima je skulptura bila podvrgnuta biti će detaljno opisani. Nadalje, objasniti će se i svaki pojedini postupak od čišćenja, lijepljenja, integriranja do retuširanja.
Abstract (english)
The primary theme of this thesis is the conservation and restoration work performed on the sculpture of Christ. The sculpture belongs to the church of St. Peter in Vaglia (Italy) and is made of ceramic as a primary material. Within the thesis, along with the conservation and restoration work, technological process of making ceramics, as well as the history of ceramics will be elaborated in order to better understand the problematic of the sculpture itself. Since the sculpture this thesis revolves around falls under the sacral art, the iconology-iconographic aspects of the religious scene that the sculpture represents will be addressed as well. Conservation restoration procedures comprise the majority of this thesis and all the research that the sculpture was subjected to will be discussed in detail. Furthermore, each individual step from cleaning, pasting, integrating to retouching will be elaborated.
