This paper analyzes the inventory management as the most important task of the company and finding the optimum relationship between the goods in stock and the level of service delivery . Inventory management is considered to be inventory tracking since joining the company until the moment of their becoming as property of companies . In theory we distinguish traditional and modern methods of inventory management . Traditional static models ( EOQ , EPQ ) in recent times are replaced by modern models ( JIT , DRP , MRP ) that successfully fit into modern business conditions . Many companies are faced with the problem of finding the optimal amount of stock or stock categorization . According to ABC analysis, stock split bit of non-essential supplies, and the XYZ analysis separate the confidence of unreliable and less reliable supplies. Based on this analysis we determine the importance of certain stocks and the future order.
